The Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus was opened in 1935 by the University of Saskatchewan and Fine Arts head, Augustus Kenderdine. Located in the Heart of Saskatchewan and the boreal forest, the campus serves as a site for innovative credit based courses and creative public programming. Prized for its mature forests and secluded lakeside location, the site has become a yearly destination choice for numerous creative souls around the world. The Kenderdine Campus is here to serve your academic and personal journey.

Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus Fund

The ELKC Fund offers grants of up to $5,000 to full-time U of S faculty members, professional librarians and term appointees to encourage the development of unique programs/initiatives which will build and strengthen the ELKC. Deadline for applications has been extended to April 1st.

Reserve the Campus for Your Event

Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus can be reserved for your private event whether a business meeting, family gathering, conference or educational event. The campus is located near the southeast corner of the Prince Albert National Park, 45 minutes north of Prince Albert, SK and 45 minutes south of the Waskesiu Golf Course. The campus provides a range of options for accommodation for over 70 guests; dining and banquet facilities in a lakeside licenced lodge that seats 110; meeting rooms for small and large groups; full meal and catering service for up to 110 people; a U of S Tuck Shop; and recreational amenities including canoes, bicycles, labyrinth, hiking paths, table tennis, beach volley ball, bocce ball and horseshoes.
